Connect Claude from the Connectors page

Claude is on the Connectors page. Settings → Connectors now has a Claude card under AI assistants. Choose Connect and it gives you Foveate's address and the three steps: add it as a custom connector in Claude, then approve what Claude may do when it sends you back. The card then shows Connected, with when you connected and when Claude last used it, and a link to the permissions you approved. Disconnect takes Claude's access away on its next request; the decks and files it already made stay in your account.

The page describes itself accurately. Its intro used to say nothing flows back from the tools you connect, which is true of your drive and your CRM but not of Claude, so it now says so.

Connectors in your account menu, and one menu at a time

Connectors, from the account menu. Your account menu now has a Connectors item, right under Settings. It takes you straight to Settings → Connectors, the page for the apps you link to Foveate.

The account menu fits your window. On a short window, or with several accounts listed, the account menu now scrolls, so Sign Out is always within reach.

One menu at a time. Opening the notifications closes your account menu, and opening the account menu closes the notifications, so the two no longer stack on top of each other.

3D models and files in decks you share

Saved views from two people are both kept. When you and a teammate each save a view of the same 3D model in a deck, both views stay, even if you save them at the same moment. A view one of you deletes stays deleted. A view a teammate saves while your new view's picture is still uploading is no longer lost when that upload finishes, and teammates see each view's picture once it has uploaded.

Play and Pause keep your deck saving. Pressing Play on a 3D model's saved views used to stop the deck from saving anything you did afterwards, so teammates stopped seeing your changes. Play and Pause now work, and everything you do after them saves as usual.

A clear notice when changes aren't saving. If your changes can't be saved, for example because you're offline, you no longer have permission to edit, or the deck has grown too big, a notice now says so and why, with a Retry button. The top of the editor reads Not saved instead of Saving… until your changes save again. A brief hiccup that the next try fixes shows nothing.

A heads-up before a deck gets too big. When a deck gets close to the most a single deck can hold, a notice tells you once, rather than on every save, and says what is taking up most of the space, so you can make room before changes stop saving.

Dropped files appear for teammates when they're ready. When you drop or paste an image, video or 3D model onto a slide, teammates now see it once it has finished uploading, instead of an empty frame in the meantime. You can still move it while it uploads. If you close the tab before it finishes, nothing is left behind, and if an upload fails, its placeholder is removed and you're told.

Splat files open in the splat viewer. A .ply or .spz file dropped onto a slide, or swapped in with Change model, now opens in the splat viewer, in the editor, when presenting and on share links. 3D widgets added this way before now open correctly too.

Embed links apply when you've finished typing. A link typed or pasted into an embed's link field now takes effect when you press Enter or click away, instead of reloading the embed with every keystroke, for you and for teammates. Esc puts the previous link back.

Viewing without edit access stays quiet. In a deck you can only view, an embedded Foveate file loading its preview no longer shows Saving… or asks you to confirm before you leave the page. A 3D model's Play button works for you without changing the deck, and saving views is left to people who can edit.

Bring an RFP you found online into the chat, and Go / No-Go reads true

Add a document you found online. After Deep Research, every brief now ends with a next step called Add a document. Paste a link to the RFP, or pick one of the brief's sources. A link to a document (PDF, Word, PowerPoint, Excel or text) is added straight away. A link to a notice page lists the documents that page links to, with the ones named like an RFP, addendum or scope already ticked. You can also keep the page itself as a text document when the notice spells out the opportunity. Gather the RFP and its addenda, then choose Start RFP steps: the chat reads them and offers the RFP steps, from key findings and Go / No-Go to the response plan and proposal. Everything you add is saved to your Library. Adding a document costs no credits. You can also reach this from the + menu with Document from a link, and in a chat that already has an RFP, it adds an addendum to its sources instead.

Go / No-Go shows the verdict it gives. The colored label on a Go / No-Go could say GO while the recommendation under it said NO-GO. The label now comes from the recommendation's own wording, including on recommendations you already have, in the sidebar and in the chat.

Client Research checks your credits up front

Client Research checks your credits before it starts. When you paste details about one or more people into the composer to research and profile them, each person costs at least 60 credits, as before, and reading what you pasted to find the people in it costs 10 credits per batch. If your balance can't cover it for everyone you pasted, Foveate now tells you how many credits you need before any research starts. If your credits run out partway through a batch, the people already profiled keep their profiles and the research stops there.

See who's here, with their photos

Teammates' photos in the header. When teammates have the same deck, previs or walkthrough open, the header now shows each one's profile photo, and their initials when they don't have one. If a photo can't load, you see their initials instead of a broken image.

Up to three faces, then a count. The header shows up to three teammates, each person once even if they have the file open in more than one tab. When more people are here, a count such as +2 follows, and clicking it opens Team Activity with everyone listed. Hover over the faces to see who they are.

Team Activity lists everyone who's here. Team Activity lists each person once, with a green dot and Online beside them, and you appear at the top marked You. The number on the tab counts the people other than you, so it matches the faces in the header. People appear as soon as they open the file, and drop off when they close it or switch to another tab.

Lines get a Border color, an easier click, and Select similar

A line has a Border color, not a Fill. Select a line and the toolbar now shows Border, with the line's color and its thickness. Before, it showed Fill like any shape, and on many lines, such as the rules from an imported document, changing it did nothing. The Border color you pick is the color the line is drawn in, on the slide and in exports. With several lines selected it changes all of them, and it leaves any boxes or circles in the selection alone.

Lines are easier to click. A thin line used to be a target a pixel or two tall, so the usual move was to drag a box around it. Every line now has a click area about ten pixels wide on screen, however far you are zoomed in or out. It makes no difference to how the line looks.

Select similar in the Select menu. Right-click a widget, open Select, and choose Select similar to pick everything that looks like it, even where the match is not exact. For a line, that is lines of a close color, about the same thickness and running the same way, whatever their length, which is how you grab the rules of an imported table in one go. For text it is the same font at a similar size and color. For shapes and pictures it is the same kind with a close color or the same proportions. The other Same rows in the menu still match exactly, and Only this slide applies to this one too.

Ultra Research Looks for Demand Before the RFP

Ultra research now works the question for you. Pick Ultra research in the web menu and a research agent spends several minutes on your question: who is moving into a place and how its population is ageing, the city's budget and bond programmes, percent-for-art and other public-art money, how its arts economy measures up, and where homes or venues are in short supply. It checks each figure against the page it came from, then hands the evidence to your brief.

The brief leads with the demand signals. An Ultra brief opens with the measured signals it found, each one cited, before the opportunities, the buyers, and how to get in. Where the evidence says a date or a selection isn't confirmed yet, the brief says so.

It keeps going if you leave. An Ultra run carries on if you close the tab or open another chat. Come back to the chat and the brief finishes there, without starting or charging for a second run.

Ultra research costs about 510 credits. The price is shown next to Ultra research in the web menu before anything runs. Deep research is unchanged.

Go further with Ultra from a Deep research brief. Under a finished Deep research brief, Go further with Ultra starts an Ultra run from what the brief already found: the organisations it named and the pages it read. The research agent checks those against their sources and goes past them, then the brief is rewritten over both, with each citation pointing to the right page. It costs the same as Ultra research from the web menu, about 510 credits.

Client research searches cost less. The web search behind researching a person, their company, or a firm's competitors from a client profile now costs about a third less.

Right-click to finish a pen shape

Right-click finishes a pen shape. While drawing with the Pen, right-click anywhere to finish the shape, just like pressing Enter, so you no longer have to reach for the keyboard after every shape. Right-clicking used to throw the drawing away. Right-click also finishes editing a shape's points, the same as Done or Esc. Everywhere else, right-click opens the usual menu.

A calmer Connectors page for workspace members

No more error on the Connectors page for members. If you're a member of a workspace rather than an owner, Settings → Connectors now simply says that your workspace's owners connect and manage the CRM, instead of showing an error with a Try again button.
