AI credits power Foveate's generation features. Anything that asks the AI to create something for you — drafting a deck, generating an image, building a plan in AI Chat — draws from your credit balance.
What uses credits
Generation consumes credits. This includes things like:
- Building a plan and generating decks, forms, walkthroughs, or previs.
- Generating images and other media.
- Other AI-assisted drafting and creation.
Everyday actions like viewing, editing, sharing, and reading analytics don't consume credits — only the AI generation itself does.
Checking your balance
See your current credit balance and recent usage on the Credits page. This is where you can track how much you've used and how much remains.
Running low
When you don't have enough credits for an action, Foveate shows an insufficient-credits prompt before running it, so you're never surprised by a failed generation. From there you can top up or adjust your plan and try again.
Plans and tiers
Foveate offers different plans, and your plan determines how many credits you have to work with along with the features available to you. Higher tiers include more generation capacity.

What are AI credits in Foveate?
AI credits are the balance Foveate draws from when its AI creates something for you — drafting a deck, form, or plan, or generating an image. Your plan sets how many credits you have.
What does not use AI credits in Foveate?
Viewing, editing, sharing, collecting form responses, and reading analytics in Foveate do not use AI credits. Only AI generation does.
Is there a free Foveate plan?
Yes. Foveate has a free plan that includes starter AI credits, and paid plans add more monthly credits and team members. Current plans and prices are on foveate.com/pricing.
What happens if I run out of AI credits?
Foveate shows an insufficient-credits prompt before running an AI action you can't cover, so a generation never fails partway. From that prompt you can top up or change your plan and try again.
