Previs
Previs is Foveate's interactive 3D format — a scene where a 3D model, media screens, and a timeline come together into a presentable, navigable experience. Use it to walk a client through a concept in space rather than on slides. Previs attach to a project and can be shared and collected for feedback.
Creating a previs
Start a previs two ways:
- Describe it in the AI Chat composer and let Foveate set up the scene.
- Use the New button and pick the previs format, then load your model.
The editor
Open a previs to edit it. Position the camera, place media on screens in the scene, and organize the moment-to-moment flow with cues and a timeline. Video and image clips can play on individual screens or surfaces, driven by the timeline.
Cues and the timeline
Build the experience as a sequence of cues — saved camera and content states you can step through when presenting. The timeline drives per-screen video and image playback so media plays in sync with the scene. Loop the timeline for a continuous ambient playback, or step cue by cue when walking someone through it live.
Presenting and sharing
Present a previs full-screen to navigate it live, or publish a share link for an interactive, trackable version viewers can explore on their own. See Sharing & feedback for access controls and engagement tracking, and Walkthroughs for navigable models and scans.
Credits
Using the AI to generate media or help build a scene consumes AI credits. See Credits & billing for details.
